Types Of Medical Lasers ablation

Medical laser ablation is a type of medical treatment that uses lasers to destroy tissues. It is used to treat conditions such as skin cancer, benign tumors, and vascular lesions. Medical laser ablation is also used to remove wrinkles and other signs of aging. You may check this link if you want to know more about medical laser ablation.

There are two types of medical laser ablation: excimer laser and carbon dioxide laser. The excimer laser uses a shorter, more intense laser beam than the carbon dioxide laser. Both types of lasers use light energy to break down tissue.

There are many types of lasers used in medical procedures and Lasers are the most common type. There are three primary types of lasers: Nd:YAG, CO 2 , and Er:YAG.

Nd: YAG lasers use a neodymium Yag Date crystal as the laser medium. They have a very short focal length and produce an intense, 1064 nm light that is used for surgery and other medical procedures.

CO 2 lasers use carbon dioxide gas as the laser medium. They have a long focal length and produce a low-intensity, 694 nm light that is used for medical procedures such as dermatology and oncology treatments.

Er: YAG lasers use erbium-yttrium garnet crystals as the laser medium. They have a long focal length and produce an intense, 1064 nm light that is used for medical procedures such as eye surgery, thyroid surgery, heart surgery, spinal surgeries, etc.

Medical Lasers and Skin: Medical lasers are very safe and effective for skin treatments. The lasers use a very short, intense burst of light that is not harmful to the skin. The light stimulates the cells in the skin to produce new collagen and elastin, which makes the skin look younger and smoother.
